Internships and placement schemes

Our paid internship and placement schemes let you find out more about M&G and develop your industry knowledge. We will consider successful candidates in our internship and placement schemes for our graduate scheme.

What we can offer you

From day one you'll be treated as a key member of the team, taking an active and productive role. We are keen to establish our small number of interns and work placement individuals as key resources. You will be aligned to one of the four departments to ensure you get a good foundation and specific knowledge to advance your career.

You'll have the chance to explore how M&G is run, interact with people from all departments and levels and develop a wide range of skills and competencies in your chosen area. You'll also receive a competitive salary.

Who we are looking for

For internships you will need a minimum 300 UCAS points (best three grades only) (340 UCAS points for the Investment scheme) and to be expecting a minimum 2:1 degree.

For placement schemes candidates must be on a sandwich degree and be taking the placement year.

We are looking for self starters with a cool head under pressure, with strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to think laterally and generate creative solutions.

Internships and placements at M&G

For internships you'll need to commit to a minimum of eight weeks, but The exact duration is flexible around your needs and ours. Doing well in the position will give you an excellent addition to your CV and you could fast track your application to one of our graduate schemes. We have a number of internship schemes for summer 2012.

Work placements are run as part of a university ‘sandwich year’ or industrial placement and are 12 months long. We have two placement schemes for 2012.
